Reading books, blogs or peoples problems on forums (related to my niche) help with my writers block. So that is what I suggest. Also, spending an entire day away from the computer somewhere preferably in nature, fresh air ... that will go a long way into rebooting your mind.

I use to get writers block trying to always produce the perfect article. I finally realized I just need to produce a good article. I read a lot of blogs and none of them blow me away everyday with their articles. You need to keep your readers entertained with every post (or at least most of them), but you don't have to blow them away with every post.

I like you Casey often use to say to myself "I wish I could do Tai Chi". The fact is Casey you can and once you begin to get into the flow you'll think to yourself "why did it take me this long to get into it". I am working on a batch of martial arts posts that I will be posting in the martial arts catorgary of my blog. Tai Chi is one of the arts that I will be posting about so feel free to follow me to find out more about it.

Looks like we're thinking about the same things today.

I wish I could do Tai Chi. Maybe I need to follow you a little closer to find out more about it.

I am so glad that I am not the only one with this feeling of having writers block. I will take your advice Ken on taking a break to clear my mind. Many thanks for the tip and the reply.

David,
I know the feeling of writers block. I have it constantly!
I think taking a break to clear your mind is a great method to getting back on track.
Good luck with your writing!

The sound tracks I use for inspiration to write are film scores such as "Enter The Dragon", "Terminater" and many more with an epic theme to them. Hope this tip helps.

Thoughtful tips, I will write that reminder and hang it on my wall. Since, whenever I’m trying to get everything 100% perfect, it often ends with me just sitting there, writing nothing at all.

As for #3 on your list, could you give us some tips on soundtracks, which give you the inspiration to write?
